• SERIES OF PROMOTIONS. CAPTAIN KER SHAW'S NEW POST. | (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sunday. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company announces that Captain N. A. R. Kershaw, master of the Mataroa, has. been I appointed to succeed the late Captain T. 11. Chudley as marine superintendent for the company at Wellington. Captain Kerahaw will assume his duties at an early date. Mr. W. G.' West, chief officer of the Mataroa, has been appointed to take command of that steamer for the homeward voyage. The vessel is due at Auckland from London, via Wellington, tomorrow morning. i Captain A. Mclntosh, late commander of the Karamca, is now in command of the Tainui, hi succession to Captain W. P. Clifton-Mogg, commodore of the Shaw, Savill and Albion fleet, who was recently appointed marine superintendent in Australia for the Aberdeen and Commonwealth Line and associated interests.
