GARAGE DESTROYED

THREE MOTOR LORRIES LOST. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON H., this* day. Three valuable motor lorries owned by the Kairanga Dairy Company at Longburn, together with a large garage, were destroyed by fire at 1 o'clock' this morning. ' ■ The outbreak was noticed by & passer-by, who aroused the factory em* ployefis, but the fire had too firm a hold for the garage to be saved.. The factory and two stores close to the garage suffered no damage. The loss is covered by insurance.
