HEADED FOR "CHAIR".

NEW YORK GANGSTER'S WAY.

NEW YORK, May 14. "I'm headed for the electric chair, and I want to get it over as quickly as possible," said Francis ("Two Gun") Crowley, a 22-year-old gangster, arrested after a sensational battle with the police. Crowley had been indicted for murder by a grand jury. Officials hope that he will be sentenced within 10 days. An orphaned product of the New York slums, Crowley is only five feet tall and weighs 1101b. "I've been kicked round all my life by bigger and tougher men, so I got sick of it," he said. "When I've got a gun in my hand I am as big as the biggest cop, and not afraid of anybody." He declares that he will plead guilty to 11 murders during his tempestuous three years' gangster carecr.
