AUCKLAND ROTARY CLUB.

Eotarian C. J. Tunks, president, occupied the chair at to-day's weekly meeting of the Auckland Rotary Club held in Milne and Choyce's Reception Hall. There was a large attendance, and visitors included:—Messrs. J. G. W. Pearson (Christchurch), J. C. MacKenzie (Waharoa), and S. Averill (Hastings). The president referred to the recent death of a prominent Sydney Eotarian, Mr. W. J. Proud, and at his request members stood in silence. Messrs. N. B. Spencer and W. C. Whitney were installed as members.
