Mr. F. C. Widdop, of Wellington, is at Hotel Cargen. • Mr. A. M. Campbell, of Melbourne, is at the Central Hotel. Mr. H. M. Rushworth, M.P., arrived /|rom , Wellington by the Limited this 'morning. Mr. E. Hindmarsh, of Wellington, and Mr. C. B. Hansen, of Napier, are at the Grand Hotel. The Hons. W. Stewart and C. J. Carrington, M.L.C.'s, arrived from Welliagton by the Limited this morning. Mr. D. Fulton, chairman of directors of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co., is at the Commercial Hotel.
Canon Percival James, of Wellington, who was injured in a motor accident on Monday, is still confined to his bed. Messrs. G. Finn and 0. Mcßrine, members of' the Unemployment Board, arrived by the Limited this morning from Wellington. Mr. A. Howitt, chief .draughtsman of railways, is on a lioliday visit to Auckland. He is accompanied by Mrs. Howitt. Dr.' T. McKibbin, director of the division of hygiene of the Health Department, is staying at the Star Hotel. Bishop J. Bach, Catholic bishop in the Gilbert Islands, left by the Maunganui yesterday for. Sydney. He spent a week in Auckland as the guest of Bishop Liston. Mr. W. H. E. Flint, who. was resident director of Thomas Borthwick and Sons, Ltd., in New Zealand, and left to reside in England about eight months ago, in- • tends to return to New Zealand at the end of this year.
