MURRAY'S BAY.
CHANGE OF NAME DISPUTE. CONSIDERATION BY COUNCIL. At present a bitter war is being waged by residents of Little Murray's Bay regarding the changing of the name of the district to A,watea. Considerable correspondence has been received' by the Waitemata County Council, and the matter is to be considered at the next meeting. The coiftity clerk, Mr. C. Cawkwell. said this morning that the council had not taken any .definite stand in the question and- would fall in with the wishes of the majority of the ratepayers. The final decision, however, rested with the Department.
