MR. JACKSON NOT STANDING. (From Our Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, Friday. In the course of his reply to the deputation which asked him "to contest the mayoralty, Mr. T. Jackson said he wished to clear up a rumour circulated to the effect that he intended to contest the Parliamentary election as a Labour candidate. He assured his hearers that he had no such intention. His one desire was to serve Rotorua in the town of Rotorua, and he wanted to be . ble to give all his spare time to that undertaking.
