BADMINTON.
MORRINSVILLE CLUB. MORRINSVILLE, Friday. There was a good attendance at the Morrinsville Badminton Club's annual meeting. The president. Mr. W. C. Cargill, presided. The following officers were ■elected President, Mr. W. C. Cargill; vice-president, Mr, C. Mallett; secretary and treasurer, Mr. N. Bryant; selector and captain, Mr. C. Mallett; committee, Misses Ryan and Thomas, Messrs. K. Hopkins, J. Hopkins and A. Thomas. •• v Since Badminton started in Morrinsville two seasons ago, the game has become very popular, and the club has had difficulty in finding accommodation for all players. Thi* reason's prospects are brighter than ever.
