RUGBY FOOTBALL.
WAITOA CLUB REVIVED.
(From Our Own Correspondents) MORRINSVILLE, Frlfay. The Waitoa Football Club, which has defunct for the past two seasons, was tevived at a well-attended meeting at Waitoa on Wednesday evening. Mr. J. Lynch presided, and mempers of the management committee of the Morrinsville Rugby Union were present. It was enthusiastically decided to enter a senior aijd a junior team in the Morrinsville competitious. The senior team will take the place of the neighbouring Tatuanui Club, which went out of existence this season. Several former Tatuanui players are Joining up with Waitoa. Officers were ■elected as follow: Patron, Mr. W. Wood; president, Mr. T. A. Colson ; vice-presidents, Messrs. AV. Luxton, F. Brown, J. Ross, M. McLean, C. J. Luxton, C. Sing and P. H. Saxton: secretary, Mr. D. Hunter; treasurer, Mr. J. Lynch; committee, Messrs. B. Blackwell, W. Howard, D. Leece, C. Sing, and team captain, president and secretary; delegates to Morrinsville Rugby Union, Messrs. Howard and Colson; selec- j tors, Messrs. McLean and A. G. Holland and captain; club captain, Mr. H. R. Blomfield.
