Coinpulsory Pool Urged for

Saskatchewan.

REGINA, April 6.

Urging support for legislation for a compulsory wheat pool in' the Saskatchewan plebiscite in June, Mr. A. J. McPhail, president of the Saskatchewan Pool, declares that only a 100 per cent compulsory pool would abolish the evils of speculation. It would also place. Canada in a position to co-operate effectively with similar bodies in other countries. Twenty-three European countries have taken drastic action to regulate their grain marketing.
