CIVIC CABARET.
The Civic Cabaret, with its shining gold and blue lights and Indian atmos- ! phere,. was an attractive setting for many devotees of dancing last evening. The orchestra was compelled to repeat the "■■newest- numbers. Autumn flowers on the tables added to the bright effect. Among those present were: Mrs. E. Gray, in lavender georgette; Mrs. Close, white taffeta, rose corsage; Mrs. A. Burleigh, broAvn and orange printed chiffon; Sire. G. Thomas, black lace over gold tissue; Mrs. C. Jones, white and black floral ninon; Miss Turner, black souple satin; Miss Jean Turner, gold moire, black rose corsage; Miss Burrett, grey and rose brocade; Miss A. Johnstone, rust toned chiffon taffeta; Miss Malone, white glace silk silver spray; Miss Nicholson, black lace; Miss Holdsworth, brown and.blue floral georgette; Miss Moody, black moire, red rose corsage; Miss G. Browne, white and pink floral satin; Miss Hunter, black silk moii-p; Miss N. Jackson, lilac georgette; Miss Mitchell, white frilled georgette; Miss King, grey and white striped taffeta; Miss..A. Tate, mauve frilled ninon; Miss L. Tate, black frilled taffeta; Miss Casey, whits georgette, lace coatee; Mis.- L. Casey, blue lace over silver tissue; Miss Moody, lemon frilled ninon; Mi;s A. Clark, black georgette and diamante; Miss B. Taylor, white. georgette and lace.
