A "kitchen" evening was given at "Loddiswell," Matamata, for Mies A. Prowse on Wednesday. Those present were: Mesdames Prowse, Beeby, Carter, Blennerhaesett, Burley, Helmsley, F. A birthday party to celebrate tlie com-ing-of-age of their daughter Mary, was given at the home of Mr..and Mrs. Duncan, Hinemoa Street, Hamilton, on Saturday.
