PARNELL BATSMAN
During the adjournment at Eden Park on Saturday, the Parnell officials »-.d players assembled in compliment to H. G. Vivian, who heads the club's batting average. The player was authorised by Mr. B. W. Upton, a vice-president, to select, whilst on tour in England with the New Zealand team, a suitable bat in recognition of this club effort.
