OPIUM SMOKER FINED.

WELLINGTON, this day

Following a police raid on a place in Haining Street, Ah Wong was fined £100 for using the premises for the puiuose of smoking opium, and £50 for being in possession of prepared opium. Punishment in default of payment of the fines was fixed at fiv© months' imprisonment.
