MT. ALBERT MAYORALTY.

MR. W. F. STILWELL TO STAND

Mr. W. F. Stilwell, of Domain Road. Mount Albert, has consented to stand for the Mayoralty of Mount Albert, following a request made to him by u deputation of ratepayers, who waited on him last week. , Economy, efficient administration and active drainage policy and less business in committee will be advocated by Mr. Stilwell. He is a partner in a legal firm, and ha,s been resident in the district for 20 yeare. Mr. Stilwell is commencing his campaign at a general meeting to be held at the Mount Albert terminus on March 31. Mr. W. J. Holdsworth will preside.

MOUNT EDEN.

A decision not to contest the Mayoralty of Mount Eden, for private reasons, has been made by Mr. W. H. Nagle, a member of the Borough Council. Mr. Nagle was asked last week by the Mount Eden ratepayers to stand.
