KTNGSLAND MOTOR CRASH

WIFE DIES IN HOSPITAL.

Mrs. Caroline Barber, aged 50, of Picton Street, Howick, who received severe injuries when the motor car which her husband, Mr. Charles Johnstone Barber, was driving crashed into a gully at the bottom of Kingsland Avenue, Kingsland, on Saturday morning, died at the Auckland Hospital on Saturday evening. The car, which had got out of control, was wrecked, and Mr. Barber was killed instantly. Mrs. Barber was taken to hospital by the St. John Ambulance, suffering from head and internal injuries. Mr. and Mrs. Barber leave a family of three sons.
