AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. The annual .meeting of tht Auckland Hockey Association w.ill be held at the Chamber of Commerce on March <Jl. A satisfactory feature of the annual report is : that bv a profit of £74 on last years operations thf loss of the prey.ous had been more than recouped, despite a loss of £12 on the Auckland-Waikato match and a loss of £S on the hite Horse Cup tournament. With the association in a good financial position, a small reduction in fees may be deemed advisable. Tpams in the trrade championships had increated from 84 to 36. and a satisfactory club season had resulted. In rePrese°tative fixtures Waikato had defeated Auckr 4 ani i 4 —2. No challenges had received for the Junior Cap (held u. Auckland) or the Raifkin Memorial Cup (held bv the Auckland Grammar School), and Auckland had not been in a position to cliallenpre for the New Zealand Shield, held by Canterbury.
