REPORTED 'PLANE CRASH.
SO AIRMEN MISSING.

A lorry driver ■who was proceeding along Wakapuaka Road toward Blenheim yesterday morning reported that lie had seen an aeroplane in difficulties. It was on fire, and appeared to crash in the sea outside the Boulder Bank, about three miles away.
Inquiries have been made, and all airmen likely to be in the yicinity have been accounted for, and it is believed that the driver must have been mistaken.
