AUCKLAND PROGRAMME. 'QUAKE RELIEF MEETING FOuA PRIZES IN EACH RACE. In the programme drawn up for the Earthquake Relief Meeting to be held by the Auckland Trotting Club on Monday and Wednesday, April 27 and 29, the committee has made one or two departures from the usual custom, and these should meet with the unanimous approval of owners. The stake money to be distributed amounts to £2500, but in every event there are four prizes, the amounts ranging from £5 to £15. Again, each day's programme opens with a race for pacers, the slow-class trot being second on the card. The limits are not so tight as at other meetings of the Auckland Trotting Club, and it is evident the committee has catered particularly for locally-owned horses.
