WHANGAREI CLUB.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. For the tenth time Mr. Frank Coburn has won the single championship of the Whangarei Bowling Club. He won the Thursday section outright and in the fmal met J. Donaldson, who had beaten S. Gribble in the Saturday play-off. The first of the three' deciding games was very closely contested, Coburn winning after the score was 17 all on the last head. In the second of the three games Coburn won easily. The champion of champions for the North Auckland premiership will be played on Saturday.
