SHEEP DOG TRIALS.
TUAKATJ CLUB ACTIVITIES. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TUAKAU, Tuesday. The decision to give the proceeds from the next trials to the earthquake relief fund was reached at the annual meeting of the Tuakau District Sheep Dog Trials Club. Mr. P. Taylor presided. A credit balance of £88 16/1 was shown in the balance-sheet. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. Lee Martin, M.P.; president, Mr W. Murray; vice-presidents, Messrs. 0 McCutcbeon and P. Taylor; honorary vice-president, Mr. K. Orr; secretary, Mr. F. Marshall; assistant secretary, and ground marshal, Mr. J. Watson; treasurer, Mr. D. McAlpine; eheep steward, Mr. A. Bartz; dog steward, Mr. V. Tout; timekeepers, Messrs. J. Dromgool, W. Barnaby, E. Parsons, L. Canton, N. Fulton, J. Flemming; executive committee, Messrs. J. Watson, D. McAlpine, •J- Baker, L. Canton, P. Paulsen; general committee, Messrs. J. Bailev. B. L. Benize, J. H. Chisholm, J. Caswell M. Mackie, T. Lawson, H. %E& H. Chapman, J. Crawford, O. Lmdberg, E A Parsons, A. Parsons, C Nicholson A. Patten E. V. Tout, J. Flemming, E Baker, A. Bradley, W. D. SB* JMcDonald, W. Bryan, K Caldwpll A Bartz, J. Dromgool, P. Taylor. It was decided to hold the trials at Pukekawa on April 22, 23, and 24. _ The North Island Sheep Dog Trials Association advised that the Maan Trunk group championship for the huntaway event had been allotted to the club. The executive was asked to appoint a judge.
