LONDON, February 22.
The "Sunday Times" mentions that a strictly revenue producing tariff applicable, over tlie whole range of imported goods is being "discussed in Labour circles. It is reported that the plan has a fair chance of success with Cabinet. It is described as unlikely to raise the protectionist issue, and it is claimed that it can bo justified in relation to the national industrial and financial Week-end gossipers say Mr. Snowden will have no difficulty in meeting the Budget deficit without imposing additional taxation "either upon industry or upon the poor." The political writer of the "Sunday Observer" says Sir Oswald Mosley's resignation from the official Labour party is imminent. He intends to lead a new movement cutting across the parties.
