The Secretary of the Post and Tele-1 graph Department has been advised as follows by the superintendent of the Awarua radio station:—6.4o p.m. The barque Fare]], at 50 degrees south longitude", 105 degrees east, distant 240 miles from Awarua, bound for Falmouth from Wallaroo, reports that she has just passed a large iceberg, with two peaks, apparently 100 ft high. The secretary later received the following report from the superintendent at Awarua:—With reference to the 1< avell s report of an iceberg seen on February 21, the master advises as follows: "Two hours after the first report the berg capsized, and is now low and a great space."
