FOR RELIEF FUND.
Organised by' Mrs. C. Seagar and assisted by Mrs. Hislop, Mayoress of Devonpo'rt, a large and successful card afternoon was held in the Navy LeagueHall, Devonport, yesterday, in aid of the earthquake relief fund. Card tables were! arranged in the main hall and alcove, and galardias and greenery were effectively used for decoration. The hidden numbers were won by Mrs. Cleal for euchre and Mrs. Coutts for bridge. A dainty afternoon tea was served by Mrs. Seagar, and she was assisted by members 0 of the Devonport sub-branch of the Navy League. Among the players were: Mesdames Hislop, C, Seagar, Angove, JD. C.
