LINDRUM V. NEWMAN. LONDON, February 11. In the final of the Empire billiards tournament the scores are:—Newman (receives 7000), 19,623, including breaks of 591, 504 and 728) Lindrum, 17,184, including breaks of 916 and 452. Lindrum, opening confidently and scoring rapidly, including a brilliant run of 92 cannons, had reduced the arrears to 1590 at the close of the afternoon session. . Newman struck form in the evening and recovered ground. Ho played a strong cannon game, including runs of 65 and 68. Against McConachy, Davis has made 13,936; McConachy has made 9604, including a break, of 1162.
