CONTEST AT DUNEDIN. ASSEMBLING OP CHALLENGERS. DUNEDIN, this day. At a meeting of the Otago Yacht and Motor. Boat Association last night- \ matters in connection with the contest for the Sanders Memorial Cup were finalised. it \vas reported that the Otago Eileen, and the Southland challenger, Ron a, had been polished,, and were in first-class order. The Auckland challenger, Avalon, liad arrived rafelyy. a'nd was now being polished. The Wellington challenger, Betty, had also arrived, and' "was housed at the boat harbou*. The Canterbury challenger, Colleen,- was expected to arrive on Friday. .: The Southland crew was due to reach Dtmedin on Friday , evening, and the Northern 'crews ..and delegates on Saturday afternoon'. Complete arrangements have hee'n made for entertaining'the visiting crews, who, together with the delegates, will he accorded a civic, reception at the . Town Hall on Monday evening. The first race will he held on Tuesday and Drotoises to be very keen.
