NEW RAILWAY BRIDGE. STRUCTURE AT NGARUAWAHIA. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ■ ; NGARUAWAHIA, this day. In. a fortnight's time the new railway bridge across the Waikato River at Ngaruawahia will be completed. The new bridge is 455 ft long, and consists of three truss spans of 117 ft, sup- : ported by two sets of ferro-concrete cylinder piers a'nd two sets of. concrete land piers. A deviation in the line is being, laid ■' to'- connect the bridge with the permanent way. The bridge cost £25,000. It is proposed to convert the old. structure into a road traffic bridge.
