AUCKLAND CENTRE MEETS. At a meeting of the Auckland Centre of the New Zealand' Swimming Association last niglit it was reported that the Helensville Swimming Club had at last forwarded its annual aililiation. fee, and that the threat of suspension was now accordingly withdrawn. Permission was granted to the Gisborne Club to arrange for an appcarance of G. Bridson, New Zealand champion, at Its carnival on January 20 and 30. Following is the programme forwarded by the Ashburton Centre for the Dominion intermediate aud junior championships to be decided in the Borough School baths, Ashburton, on January 30 and 31:—First clay: 75yds junior boys' breaststroke; 220 yds junior boys'; 100 yds junior girls'; 100 yds intermediate boys' breaststroke; 220 yds intermediate boys'; 100 yds intermediate girls'. Second day; 100 yds! junior boys'; 50yds junior girls'; 100 yds intermediate boys'; 440 yds intermediate boys'; 57yds intermediate girls' breaststroke; 220 yds intermediate girls'; intermediate boys' diving.
