WEST INDIES OUTCLASSED
AUSTRALIA'S INNINGS MARGIN.

The West Indies cricketers, who had made 107 and 07 for five wickets against Australia's first innings score of 360, faced a hopeless task, when they con- ■ tinued their second innings this morning, in fine weather, in the presence of a few hundred spectators. Ironmonger was given the ball for the first time in this innings, and dismissed "Barrow and Francis in the first over which was a maiden. The total was then 67 for seven wickets. Grimmett's first over was also a maiden. Then Bradman dropped Scott in Ironmonger'l3 second over, and Jackson dropped Grant off Grimmett. Scott had added 23 runs with Grant for the eighth wicket before ho was caught in the outfield. Grimmett got Griffith and the innings closed for 90 runs. Australia had an overwhelming victory by an innings and 172 runs. The visitors were outclassed in all departments of the game. Details of the scores are as follows: — AUSTRALIA.
