The Australian.Board of Cricket Control unanimously decided that Bradman had broken his agreement with the board on the English tour, and resolved to - withhold from him £50, his goodconduct money. He will thus receive only #100, while the other members of the team received £150.

The board also censured Bradman for violating the agreement. His offence consisted in publishing articles on cricket while on tour. ,
