The "Daily Herald," in an article entitled "Haiids Off Bradman," says that Bradman "is evidently suffering from a combination, of hero'worship and official irritation. Apart f torn one brilliant innings'he had dropped entirely from 'the superb standard he displayed in England, v
"The fact is that one-half of the Australian public expects him to score effortless centuries and the other half regards him as a bad boy. This must have an adverse mental effect on one who, after all, is a mere schoolboy. Everyone wishes Bradman a quick and safe deliverance from officialdom. He is an asset to the cricket of the world."
