Tin.—Spot; £117 6/3 (£ll4 3/9); three months, £118 15/ (£lls 12/6). Silver—Standard, 14% d (15 l-16d) 'per oz; fine, 15 13-16 d (lQYid).

CHEESE PROSPECTS GOOD
Messrs. Norden and Company, Limited, state that a cable received, to-day from their principals, Messrs. R. and W. Davidson, Ltd., advises as follows: — Butter.—Salted, 114/ to 116/; unsalted, 112/ to 118/. The market is steady. Cheese.—White, 60/ to 62/; coloured, 59/ to 61/. There are prospects of higher prices.

Wheat cargoes are dull in sympathy with North American prices. On the Argentine Exchange quotations are lower, and parcels are in small demand at 6d and 1/ down. The market closed steadier-
Wheat, ex City of Adelaide, sold for 24/6 a quarter. Grain shipped from West Australia by an unnamed vessel sold in Italy at 25/. Futures.—London: December, 19/; February, 19/3. Liverpool: March, 4/2; May, 4/3 1-8; July, 4/4 1-8.
