OBITUARY.

MRS. HERBERT RAILS.

The death occurred at Ellerslie on Saturday last after a long illness of Mrs. Anne Rails, second daugther of the late Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Scandrctt, of Mullet Point. Mrs. Rails was born afc Mullet Point in 1806 and was married to Mr. Herbert Rails in 1892. They lived at Mount Albert until 189S, wheii they took up farming in Manurewa. They retired in 1920, and made their home in Ellerslie. Mrs. Rails was an ardent worker in the Church of England, both at Manurewa and Ellerslie. She leaves her husband and two sons, Mr. H. G. Rails, of Ardmore, and, Mr. E. T. Rails, of Manurewa.
