THAKABAU REPLACES GILLESPIE. (By Telegraph.—.'Special to "Star.") DUNEDIN, this day. The weather is perfect, with every prospect of continuing, for the Plunket Shield match 'between Auckland and Otago which commences at Carisbrook Park to-morrow. The ground is. in great order, and the team which wins the toss will be lucky.
The New Zealand selectors are here for the match.
Thakabau replaces Gillespie in the Auckland teanvthe latter being'twelfth man.
