Sargon pulled up sound after working this morning and his chances of fulfilling his Derby/engagement to-morrow now seem assured. Drama and Columba were timed to run the last three furlongs of their -work in 375. Amber Link was sprinted up the straight, doing a furlong in 13s. Brazanna ran two furlongs in 25 4 -ss. Rosshire was going easily alongside Clopton at the end of half a mile in 51s, the last three furlongs taking 38 2-ss. Royal Artist was going well, within himself when covering half a mile with Speedmint, the journey taking 40 l-ss. The following riding engagements have been made for to-morrow: — R. S. Bagby.—Chief Jewel, Sargon.. Havaspot, In th'e Shade. G-. J. Jones. —Clopton, K. Voitre.—Refresher, Drama, Operatic and Spearmiss. A. Eastwood.—Speedmint. H. Goldfinch.—High Comedy, Rosshire, Goshawk, Big Bertha and Paganeiti.
