While hunting with the Belvoir Hounds, Prince George was thrown heavily on to his left shoulder whea his horse turned a somersault. The Prince of Wales was riding near hiui and rendered, assistance.
Prince George's shoulder was X-rayed at Melton Mowbray Hospital. The shoulder was badly bruised and dislocated. ,It was the first appcarance. of the brothers in the hunting field since the King's illness.
The "Sunday Express" says the Prince of Wales was riding shoulder to shoulder with Prince George at a fast pace when Prince George's horse stumbled at a flooded ditch ' and threw its rider. The Prince ran to his brother, who was lying- helpless in the mud. He,

A woman who saw the accident drove Prince George 011 bumpy roads for eight miles to a hospital, where the shoulder was reset' under an anaesthetic. Thd patient's condition is reported to be satisfactory. • > •;
