MISSING TIMBER.

LABOURER CHARGED WITH THEFT. REMANDED FOR WEEK. Charges of stealing timber valued at £5 10/ and timber valued at £3f>o, the property of .Jeanic Haines, were brought against Leslie Clifton Arthur Payne, a labourer, aged 29, before Mr. *F. K. Hunt, - S.M., in -the Police Court this morning.

On the application of Detective Sergeant- Kelly, accused was remanded to appear next Monday.
