HOLIDAY ACCIDENTS.
CRASH WITH TAXI. WHAKATANE MAN" HURT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) OPOTIKI, this day. A young man named Sunkell, a resident of Whakatane, collided with a taxi at the intersection of Bridge Street and John Street in the Opotiki borough yesterday. Sunkell received injuries to the face and one arm was badly torn about. The motor cycle was badly smashed.
COLLAPSED ON BEACH.
, YOUNG MAN DIES SUDDENLY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Friday. A young man named Stark, 21 years of age, a resident of Dunedin, collapsed and died on the beach at Warrington to-day. It is understood that Mr. Stark with two friends had walked to Warrington from Evansdale. The three had gone in for a bathe aiid were walking along, the beach at about 4.30 p.m. when. Mr. Stark complained, of a violent headache. . He collapsed and died almost immediately. It is thought that.-the cause of death was heart failure.
