LAWN TENNIS.
TE PUKE CLUB. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TB PUKE, Wednesday. . The following team will represent the Te Puke Tennis Club in a challenge for the Lees Cup against Tauranga South, at Tauranga, on December 7: —Mrs. Chappie, Miss: Mollgaard, Miss Brown, Mrs. Manning, Miss Wilkins, Miss Perring,, J. G. Carnachan, L. E. Manning, E. Taylor, G. T. Simpson, H. Mollgaard, K. G. Chappie. The B team to play Tauranga South at Te Puke is:—Veitch, Cleary, Bain, Chaplin, Palmer, Cooney, Mrs. Bain, Mrs. Connor, Misses T. Cliffe and B. Downs. Members of the Te Puke Club are looking forward to some interesting tennis this season, when visits froni Rotorua, Wbakatane, and Tauranga Tennis Clubs, in an endeavour to wrest the Dunlop Shield from Te Puke are cxpected later in the season.
