MINING.
REPORT FROM WAIHI. (By Telegraph.-Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, Thursday. The following information has been cabled to the London office of the Walla Gold Mining Company :— For the period ended November 15, comprising 21 crushing days, 17,654 tons of ore .were .crushed for a result o£ 6148 fine ounces of- gold and 32411 fine ounces of silver. This includes 1095 tons mined from the Grand Junction area, which yielded 559 fine ounces' of gold and 4910 fine ounces of silver. No. 3 Level.—-Martha lode: In the Harmnn south crosscut, we have driven to the west 27ft, the assay value being 17/3 per ton, and to the east 28ft, the assay value being 36/3 per ton. No. 9 Level. —Martha lode: In the Grand Junction area, driving, east, the next 34ft assays 44/6 per ton. No., 11 ■.Level.—Dominion lode: In the Grand Junction area, driving , east, the next 20ft assays 41/3 per ton, and next 19ft, 9/ per ton.
