BURTTER MARKING.
. f ERROR IN CABLE. Messrs. -Joseph Nathan and Co. have drawn our attention to an error in punctuation which occurred in a cable from London, published on October 30. The cable dealt with the evidence given byMr. Sandercock, director of Trengrouse and Nathan, at a butter inquiry in which he stated, interalia:—"New Zealand butter was sold simply as pure butter for which the retailer got a higher price. Without any marking order there, would be no incentive to sell as New Zealand butter."
