MARKETING SCHEME.
DOMINION DAIRY PRODUCE. CONFERENCE PLANNED. CO-OPERATIVE ORGANISATIONS. Farmers throughout the Auckland Province are interesting themselves in the movement to arrange a conference in New Zealand between co-operative distributing organisations in Great Britain and co-operative producing organisations in New Zealand.
The president of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, Mr. A. A. Ross, explained this morning that the idea was to get organisations such as co-operative dairy companies into direct touch with co-operative wholesale people in the Old Country. Should the conference be arranged, some scheme might be evolved that would eliminate the middlemen engaged in the dairyexport business.
