LINDRUM'S BIG BREAK. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 7. In tlie Lindrum-Newman billiard match the scores are:—Newman 17,850, including ' breaks of 631 and 491; Lindrum 17,277, including breaks of 302, 214, 229 and 1719. Lindrum's 1719 is the highest break of" the season, and was made mostly from close cannons, the sequences including 70, 99, 73 and 72. At snooker Newman has scored 1173 and Lindrum 898.
