PUKEKOHE CLUB. The Pukekobe ■ Cricket Association's senior competition for the Taylor Shield starts.on Saturday. Two-day matches arc being played. Tlie draw for the first round is as follows:—October 11 and 18: Wesley College v. Tiikekohe Technical High School, ;it Wesley College. October 23 and Xovember 1: Wesley College v. Pukekohe, at Wesley College ;* High School v. Waiuku, at Waiuku. November S and 15:-Wesley College v. Waiuku. at 'Wesley College; Pukekohe v. High School, at the school. January 3 0 and 17: I'ukekohe v. Waiuku, at Pukekohe. MORRINSVILLE ASSOCIATION. (From Our Own Correspondent.) MORRIXSVILLE, Monday. About 40 players engaged in practice matches under the auspices of the Morrinsville Cricket Association on Saturday. There is a revival of cricket- at .MOrrinsvAlle, and four teams will compete in the local competition this year. About ■60 prospective players have been enrolled, excluding a number of schoolboys "who will probably also play. Matches are to .be played against Hamilton teams on Saturday at Hamilton and Morrinsville. About £•'!() worth of new cricket material has been purchased.
