CYCLING.

AUCKLAND CLTJB. With the big classic event over, the Auckland Cycle Club were back again on the Tamaki' circuit on Saturday in continuation of their weekly road races, when a 19-mile handicap was conducted. Three laps of the 54-mile circuit, and one of the 2J, was used, the conditions overhead being showery, with a strong sou'-wester blowing. The placed ridera were :—■ 11. Clay (6m 30s) 1 K. Rae (7m) ' 2 It. Green (4m) 8 XV. Archer (7m) 4 Time of race, 61m 48s. K. Green (4m) gained fastest time honours for the distance in 60m 15s. One, two and three-mile handicaps will be held at the Domain on Labour Day.
