Ecila and Gold Pit. were-' trotted aiid cantered on tlie two-year-old track, and Summer Time, who arrived yesterday from Hawera, was given a sprint; over a few furlongs on the two-year-old; track. , The weather, was fine this morning for training work at-Takariini. St' Ames (McHroy). ran half a mile in M 3-ss, without, being asked. to do his best. White Wings (Crowley) and Envoy (Tremain) who were eased up over the last furlong, ran five furlongs in 1.6 2-5, the last four taking 51 4-se. Refresher (Stewart) and Havaspot (Crowley) got to the end of five furlongs in 1.3 4-5. , v , -n .: \ ■ Treasury (Crowley) beat Peut-etre over half,a mile in 52 4-ss. _ ■ 'Ti Tree (Crowley) beat Lord Willonyx ~ (Forsyth) at the end- of four furlongs in 53 2-se. Topstar, with a fair weight, was mot doing his beet to run half a mile-in 555. Dominican wae an absentee from the track, and will not start to-morrow. Gay Cavalier and King's Speech jumped out of the barrier and . were allowed to run along over a few furRoseric (Go'ldfinch) and Royal Artist (Walters) covered half a mile in 545, the last three taking 41s. They were not doing their beet. . ? Prince of Orange (Goldfinch) and Roesliire (Walters) jumped away at the five-furlong post, High Comedy joining them at the three..
