BIRIH CONTROL.
I also am a Catholic mother, but I would be very sorry indeed to think anybody belonging to me would condone or defend that abominable thing called birth control. Does "Calixta" realise, when she speaks of doctrine and discipline, that she touches only the fringe of the matter and misses the main issue, which is this: What right has thecreature to dictate to the Creator? Who is Master of life aVid death, God or man ? Who has the right to decide what life shall exist or what life shall not exist, God or man? If it is right to destroy life before it has come to full fruition, then it follows that it should be right to destroy life at any time. Murder is murder under any form, and if so, why should we not be allowed to destroy those children we already have, under the excuse of hard times, unemployment, and inability to look after them properly?
