The receipts for the three matches in Sydney against the British Rugby team amounted to £3611. Ground rent ami other, items of expenditure totalled £1123, leaving net proceeds £24SS, of which the New Zealand Rugby Union takes half.. As the cost of bringing the Britishers to Australia amounted to £1400, the New South Wales Union has asked Nevy Zealand to forego its share of the net proceeds. Othenvi-so New South Wales will show no profit at all. A reply has not yet been received.
