A SCOUT FILM.
A new film of particular interest to boys and girls has juet been made ior the Boy Scouts' Association, in which a number of schoolboy Scouts are the principal actors—and very fine actors, These boys gave up their Easter holidays to the making of "The Wood-pio-eon Patrol." which tells the story of a hike in Kent. 'The object of this film is to encourage Scouts to get out into the country and to emphasise the importance of the "hike" and the "patrol system " in Scout training. " There is one particularly exciting moment in the film, where the laziest Scout in the .patrol proves himself a hero after all by making a. thrilling rescue in the sea. The Chief Scout, Lord Baden Powell, himself appears in one memorable scene, while some of the incidents during the' "hike" are very laughable.
