A woman named Cora Alice Townsend, tied 43, is alleged to have been murfend at Fltzroj, a suburb of Xcw Plymouth early this morning. When found gjje -was severely cut about tie throat. Constable Sing, of Fitzroy, telephoned at 149 a.m. to Inspector Fraser. DetecMeiklejohn, who, with two congtibte, went to the bouse, found tne Truman' dead and removed the body to ftemflrgue. A search was instituted and outlying stations were advised, with the result that before ten o'clock the arrest was made in Urenui district by Constable IA Poitple of a man who will probably be jjjooght before the Court this afternoon.
